Bonnefanten (2020)

The visual identity for Maastricht-based arts museum The Bonnefanten draws inspiration from its eccentric building: illustrated architectural forms are bolted onto a custom typeface with three variations, each inspired by an era of art history exhibited by the museum. The variations combine fluidly to reflect the museum's genre-hopping curation. Colour also embraces tonal range, with each colour in the expansive palette having three variations (vivid, neon and metallic). This richly expressive identity is applied across many contexts: an extensive website, signage, exhibition materials, informational print, christmas cards, child-friendly exhibition supplements, stickers and more.
