The visual identity for Maastricht-based arts museum The Bonnefanten celebrates its eccentric building: illustrated architectural details are bolted onto a custom typeface with three styles, each with their own voice. These voices combine fluidly to reflect the museum's genre-hopping curation and outspoken personality. Colour also embraces tonal range, with each colour in the expansive palette having three variations (vivid, neon and metallic). This richly expressive identity is applied across many contexts: an extensive website, signage, exhibition materials, informational print, christmas cards, child-friendly exhibition supplements, stickers and more.
